In 2011, Vincent Sanders founded Johnsons-Moving with one truck, a small garage office, and a big commitment to help people move without stress. The idea wasn’t to become the biggest, but to build something reliable, honest, and community-driven. Vincent Sanders, who had years of hands-on experience in logistics, noticed how impersonal and chaotic the moving process often was.

Key Milestones

2011: Vincent Sanders started Johnsons-Moving in 2011 with one truck and a focus on reliable local moving. Early work included small house and office relocations.
2005: A second truck was added. The team grew. Services expanded to nearby cities. Packing support was introduced.
2010: A warehouse was opened to offer short- and long-term storage during moves, delays, and renovations.
2014: Basic insurance was added to all moves. Online booking and quote requests became available to speed up scheduling.
2017: Staff were trained to handle heavy and delicate items: pianos, safes, pool tables, and office equipment. Add-on services included packing, unpacking, and debris removal.
2020: The company adapted to safety protocols. Contactless service options and sanitation procedures were implemented. Operations continued without staff cuts.
2022: Routing and scheduling were optimized. Additional services targeted seniors, students, and small business clients. Response time improved.
2024: Johnsons-Moving remains a stable, mid-sized operator. We’re not the largest, but we deliver consistent results. We include basic insurance, clear pricing, and trained teams.
